Estimator

We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established contractor renowned for delivering some of London’s most exclusive high-end residential projects, typically ranging from £5m–£10m in value. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional with a background in super prime residential construction to play a key role in the pre-construction and tendering process across multiple design-led scheme, both new builds and complex refurbishments, throughout London. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for high-end residential projects Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to produce accurate pricing Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations Work closely with project managers, architects, and consultants during the pre-construction phase Assist in developing project budgets and value engineering options where appropriate Track market trends and provide commercial insight into cost planning and forecasting Ensure compliance with company processes and industry standards Support handovers to delivery teams, ensuring clarity on scope and budget expectations Requirements: Proven experience as an Estimator within high-end or super prime residential construction Strong knowledge of current market rates, materials, and subcontractor pricing Experience working on projects ranging from £5m–£10m in value Able to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings Strong analytical, numeracy, and negotiation skills Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel Detail-oriented with a proactive and methodical approach Excellent communication and collaboration abilities What’s on Offer: Opportunity to work on some of London’s most prestigious residential projects Join a contractor with a strong pipeline in the high-end residential sector Competitive salary and benefits package Collaborative, design-focused working environment Clear career progression within a growing, respected team
